This morning I was busy finishing up my talk for church tomorrow when the phone rang. It was the Calif Quake asking if GeeMa would go to the Farmers Market with her and Little Quake. Mommy was on her way so I had to go!
We saw lots of fruits and vegis! Homemade cheese from Petaluma (***you can pet a dog and pet a cat, but you can't pet a luma) we had to sample. Figs, honey, baked goods and much more.
The air smelled so good with Kettle Corn and food from El Galito, and a BBQ place filling the morning air.
After taking a look at all the market had to offer and tasting some yummy stuff we went to purchase our goodies. Arms filled with our bags and children, we stopped off at El Galito to get the girls a breakfast burrito. $1.50 for a burrito just the right size for the girls. What a bargain! And tastes great as well.
If you look at the picture of CaQuake, she's pointing at something on the paper in her hand. It's a child with a snail on her face! A young girl was at a booth handing out pamphlets about 4H. Ca Quake loved the paper. Maybe we have a budding 4H'er on our hands? She also had a cage with a sweet bunny rabbit. When Little Quake saw it she yelled, pointed and walked as fast as she could to get a look! Her little finger was pointing as a squeal came out of her! Loved it!
How can you pass a morning up like that!
***OK, I have to explain my little outburst about Petaluma! Years ago when Rob and I were first married there was a family here, the Peters, and Jim told me that little joke/saying. No I can NEVER hear the name Petaluma without that going through my mind! It's a curse!

We love the Farmers Market too. It's one of my favorite things about living here.
